I live in Illinois. I live in the Midwest. Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas are not in the Midwest.

Honest question. Not being a smart a-s. I’ve heard about these storm warnings in that area for the last three days “I’m in California” why didn’t anyone leave? If people are getting a multiple day heads up why not just leave the area?

It seems like someone or something is messing with the weather patterns??? My heart goes out to all the people who suffer from these tragic situations!!!! Communities in medium to high tornado regions need to pitch in and build a community tornado shelter for all!!! In today's world, I think we are developed past the point that people have to ride it out in their homes in a closet!!! Tornado warnings have been getting better and better, especially with all the live trackers on youtube... They can almost predict them now... People need to be aware of the weather each and every day and plan accordingly.. It took 2 massive tornado disasters for the poor people of Joplin to realize they need tornado shelters readily available throughout the city and especially schools... No kid should die because we are too cheap to put in tornado shelters at public places, schools, and communities where we all live!!!
