Branford woman arrested for 5th time in a month

A woman who had been arrested three times in a three day span in September has been arrested twice more over the past two days, police said.

Ask anybody if they WANT to be an addict/alcoholic and they will predictably say 'no'. But the nature of addiction is like a form of demonic possession and no-matter how good one's intentions are, addiction will bring unrest, shame, jails and institutions into their lives. I actually feel a little sorry for her - she is sick. Addiction is a serious illness.
