I grew up in the Catholic church and knew many incredible people of faith.. Father Flanagan. But even at a young age in the early 1960's I saw a disconnect between the faithful and the upper level of the church. Many seemed to be the priests that Jesus called a brood of vipers.

Why is the Church so sly and sinful, you would think these men of God would be the first to stand up and tell the truth . I am Catholic and love Our Lord and the Blessed Mother Mary, but I have become distrustful of the Church .

I was baptised on the 25th December 1962 as a baby 3 weeks after I was born . The church has been a large part of my life and I attended a Catholic boys school where I was prepared to meet the world . I married a Catholic girl from far away and we have been married for 34 years and have 4 children . My wife is far more devout than I, but I study history as a hobby and my favourite studies are of the ancient world .
This story of Fatima first got to my ears at school in 1979 during Focus, as class we had that concentrated on Catholic issues. This story has followed me pretty much since then, and I can only conclude that it is true in every detail because I have watched how history has unravelled since I left school.

There is little doubt (IMHO) that the Church - our CHURCH - is self destructing from the top & within the senior pastors. We must resist these changes or see the destruction of the Church.
