It’s hard to believe how foolish the Wizards were for even giving Beal that ridiculous contract to begin with. This appears as literally just a salary dump move. Beal is going to be in what likely was always his ideal role, as a 3rd wheel on a title contender. Phoenix obviously wins this trade at least in the short term.

Feel like PHX lost this trade. A player with a high usage rate on a middling team, but with decreasing output in exchange for what is essentially the rest of their draft capital. If PHX doesn’t win a title within the next two years they’ll probably end up trading Booker to reestablish draft capital and end up as one of the worst situations of the late 20s
