I really appreciate this video because I've been sewing for a while in a "trial and error" fashion, and it really helps to now know what some of these words mean. Maybe I can actually follow a pattern now! Thanks for the info!

This is the most helpful video I’ve found, I feel like you explain things clearly and makes it easy to follow along with the visual aids! Thank you!

I’ve done sewing for a long time but I’ve done only plushies outside of the pjs my mom had me help with to teach me how to sew. This means I have a general understanding but now that I’m trying to learn how to make clothes and costumes I’ve felt so lost. This helps a ton

My Nana and I are working to sew some things for a cosplay I'm working on, and this video is sooo helpful 🙏🙏🙏

My Nana has sewn her whole life, but this is my first time, so this is helping me understand what she's talking about. Interestingly enough, I used to make a lot of origami when I was in school, and some of these techniques remind me of how I'd work with paper!

Awesome video, and I'm excited to make some clothes of my own

thank you so much for this video, i've just started learning to sew and I'm having an incredibly fun time, and I'm really getting the hang of it, while i've been practising on making things like tote bags and pillow cases for friends. My next journey is I want to try creating a simple t-shirt based on a shirt I already have.

Great video, very informative. I thought I had it on 2x setting. Perhaps you had a time limit?

This was great! You mentioned “yolk, ” but never explained what it meant. Could you share its meaning?? 😀 Thanks in advance!

Glaring error. A selvedge and not salvage unless you are rescuing waste fabric.

Great video, thanks! Though I would keep in mind not everyone learning to sew is a girl - something to keep in mind when referring to your audience 0:20 :)
