Показать описание
A triac-driven zero-crossing optocoupler, MOC-3021. A light-emitting and light-sensing optocoupler has only one internal connection, the light bean. The opto isolators enable signal exchange between two circuits without establishing an electrical connection.
This gadget operates on the premise that signal is conveyed to a phototransistor by light, which is proportional to signal. A light-emitting device and a light-sensitive device are combined to form an opto-isolator or opto-coupler, but there is no electrical connection between the two—just a beam of light. The source of light is almost usually an LED.

Features and Specifications of MOC3021
1. An opto-isolator with a driver for a zero-crossing triac
2. 1.15V is the input LED diode forward voltage
