SolidWorks, These videos describe how to put together a simple In-Context Assembly model or, as it is also called, a "Top Down" assembly of a simple hand gun model. This video demonstrates the creation of what I call "Design Sketches" on the three primary planes that drive the basic features of the some of the parts in this assembly. Tutorial for IET 265 Three-Dimensional Modeling using SolidWorks in Central Washington University's Mechanical Engineering Technology Program.

A .JPG with some dimensions would be helpful. Good tut.

My student did not fully define his sketches but from the bottom of the hammer to the top is is about 1.5 inches and the trigger about 1.125 inches. Hope this helps

Hi I was wondering if you could send me the file (.sldprt) for the revolver. I'm trying to recreate it but the only issue i'm having is seeing all of your dimensions. Thanks for any help
