25 recruits injured in an accident? The driver was in the southbound lane and veered into the northbound lane and into the recruits at an accelerated speed. It seems targeted to me unless the driver had some sort of medical event.

It’s insane how many people thinks it’s the sheriffs fault for having a vehicle go into opposite lanes of traffic and hit them at 40 mph.

Is it a coincidence that this happened on the day that Daryl Brooks is in court to be sentenced and the victims from the Wakeshka parade Massacre are in court also and there was a bomb threat yesterday. I hope we don't have copycats out here believe it or not he has a lot of supporters. It's sickening

That vehicle sheered off that "Light pole", THAT'S how fast they were going... AFTER they'd already hit 22 human beings..

And this is exactly why other agencies do not have recruits running along public roadways. CHP is on a closed campus in West Sacramento. Butte Academy is on a college campus where the recruits run on the college track and on and on. This is a failure of LA County refusing to spend money on a closed campus. Totally preventable. So sad.
