I have a Lagun FTV-2, very similar to the Bridgeport. This is great info.

Thanks for the idea with the 3-D printer. Going to make one at work tomorrow. Can't stand that lever to move up-and-down always slips out.

He looks strikingly similar to Slim Shady.

That aside, cool video.

Did you not consider mounting your Z axis on the knee instead of the quill?

Just a question for the speed changing handle I put the speed to 600 and I reverse the handle to got to 4000 right so I can be clockwise and anti clockwise as long as i don't go to far? Not 1 way all the time the chain will seize* up in the middle

QUESTIONS - A - whats the little 'hinged capped elbow' right behind the "power feed knob" (perhaps) on right side above the quill handle. I got that one and another above it by the "collet bolt" -ish (its at work i dont quite remember where it is)
B - how adjust the head angles ?
thankyou

Jim, quick question. Can these Bridgeport milling machines be automated? It is a vintage one like in your video. Great video by the way! Learning a lot!

I have a cover plate you're missing for your Bridgeport. I'm willing to sell you for pretty cheap.
