Thorpe Park - Colossus front seat on ride POV 1080p wide angle

Take a front seat ride on the Colossus roller at Thorpe Park. Filmed on a GoPro HD Hero2 (with slightly dirty lens, oops :/ I'll clean it next time...)

Well it's not completely out of the question. B&M recently made new trains for Steel Dragon 2000 in Japan, which was originally made by Chance Morgan.
But the chances are if Colossus were to get new trains they'd have Intamin's newer restraints as seen on Stealth, which would make a huge improvement to the ride experience. The layout is great but the headbanging just takes away any enjoyment, at least from the two rides I had.

On colossus I banged my head alot and a couple of days after I got rushed to hospital because it gave me a burst ear drum but I can't wait to go on it again :)

I'm pretty sure when I came off this ride I had a mild concussion and whiplash from being thrown around so much...But me for it was worth it, GREAT ride!

My friend passed out on the first loop then woke up and then passed out agin on the corkscrews. And then he woke up at the end of the ride... lol

Good luck at thorpe park!! I reccomend to ride everything as I have :)!! Colossus is a bit rickety and you bang your heads lots although thorpe is safe and they check your harness!! Zodiac does not have a harness so if you are afriad dont ride that and slammer you feel like you will fall out! They are all safe so dont worry! I used to be scared to but now i put my arms up because i know it is safe!! Have FUN!

I'm going tomorrow :D You posted this comment a week ago so I guess you've been. How did you find the rides? The important thing is to remember that these have had rigorous safety checks countless times! So there is no chance of falling out. There have been 6 accidents in the last 33 years, one of which was a fire caused by someone carelessly discarding a cigarette butt so there really is nothing to worry about :)

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!!! DO NOT GO TO THORPE PARK!!! Unless u have fastracks. I recently checked and Thorpe park has 23 total rides. Compared to Alton towers’ 44 rides. They also allow the same capacity so u can imagine the wait time. I wanted to ride on colossus recently and the queue ended up being 120+ mins throughout the day. EVEN THE FKING DODGEMS (bumper cars) were 65 mins. And the fastracks ran out. This is the same for every attraction. And when I was there, half of the rides were closed. I only ended up going on nemesis inferno cos of the ridicolous times, so please if u don’t have pre-bought fastracks for the rides u wanna go on, then I wouldn’t advise going there.

Its best if your filming without their permission to not get the camera out until you have gone past the cctv cameras at 0:03, or they could stop you at the lift hill to ask for your camera
