two other backpacks I'd personally recommend is Mefino's backpack, and The Preservation backpack, both are found without ever leaving Chersonese.
Also fun tip; if you, like me, scrap your primitive satchel for the 2 hide to make a full set of makeshift leather for the start of the game after you get your nomad backpack, you can make another one later with 2 hide and a linen cloth
also also good tip, since the Cierzo Caravanner sells Scaled Leather, making a set of Scaled Leather Attire can be an amazing choice for the extra defense and bonus physical damage while wearing it

Throwing this out there too, if you're having a hard time finding out how to use the primitive satchel as a crafting ingredient, go to your inventory and unequipped the backpack.

Just dropping the info here, you can upgrade this satchel later by going to the antique plateau.

I’d rather stick with finding the power coils and get the backpack that has 100. Which is what I got now. Worth getting in my opinion.

Capacity wise it’s not the best in game, but it’s handy for the feather dodge effect. It’s handy because you can craft it within 20 minutes depending on the merchant, but it’s still out-done IMHO by a few other options.

Like the 110-capacity bag waiting right next to town in the bandit camp, best capacity in game. Feather dodge is a skill point in Levant if you commit to the rogue/assassin tree, which has a lot to offer anyway - if keeping your bag on is that important.

I just save before a fight, save often enough and it’s ok if you lose your bag to bandits. Just reload.

Idk, I can’t handle the 60 capacity, too many things to prepare for 😂

I just wait till I die and get sent back to cierzo then you can close application till the shop keeps have what your looking for, it's how I got my first pistol
