MAF Sensor Testing

This is a quick method for testing MAF sensors. This type of mass air flow sensor generates a modulated frequency signal; basically, the frequency of the signal changes, not the voltage. It’s great to us an oscilloscope for this test, but is can be done with a normal multimeter too!

You may want to check Electude . They have a large amount of training information . Diagnose Dan uses it . Also, Wells Mfg . I believe they now call it Go Tech . The instructor, Mike Becker is excellent . Contact them and see if they have or can give you information . They have an engineering staff there as well . A training video is always welcome .

I got a klein tools mm300... there's no frequency reading... but i appreciate you teaching this. If I can eliminate it's the problem with the MAF sensor, I will save $290USD at least. thank you!
