I love the smell of plants right after it rains.

I went to Morroco last week, and someone tried to sell me and my dad soaps. One of them was for males, to attract females. My dad absolutely hated the smell, I loved it. The one for females to attract males, I hated, whereas my dad loved it. So you might be very right :)

Just keep in mind that the smell of stuff rotting is not "your smell".

For example, if you take a shower and then train to the point of sweating. Thats "your smell", but if you then walk around in used clothes over time etc stuff in the smell starts to become broken down and that in turn creates another smell, aka the "you stink" smell.

Fresh sweat / natural body oder = aphrodisiac.
Post sweat that is being broken down = Stink, get away.
A rather important point in this context if you ask me.

im not really sure but could the reason we like smells different to our own be related to inbreeding? presumably you would smell somewhat similar to your family so could it be that its a protection mechanism against inbreeding?

One day my crush (who sat next to me) forgot to where her deodorant or something and this was just after gym class so she smelled like BO. I thought I was crazy because I actually liked the way she smelled.

I love the smell of tea. I swear to god, my boyfriend pours brewed earl grey on his clothes because he smells just like that; it's really faint though, so I have to get really close to smell it (which isn't at all a bad thing).

Okay here is a true story of mine
My friend said were going to a party as he stopped by at my house surprisingly after I had went to the gym and my clothes were wet with sweet. I had no time to Change and I thought to myself well I'm not really planning on impressing a girl because I'm tired and what not anyways
Well so by time I got to the party my shirt sweet dried. But it was smelly anuff for me to notice my own scent.
I kid you not there were so many girls interested in sitting next to me and talking to me that it was weird like they liked my smell and that some how that I wasn't concerned to impress them and ignored them turned them on like crazy. Wtf? I didn't understand it
Also that night I almost got beat up because some guy saw that his girlfriend was enjoying talking to me.. how annoying lol.

So after that I now know that what I thought would have had no one sitting by me because of my smell had actually made women sitting around and near me interested.

It's just to weird to have experienced

I love my wife's actual smell, specially her hair. And there were two other women whose smell were intoxicating to me. My immune system must be as different as possible from theirs. :P It is definitely a thing.

I love the natural human scent. I especially like how men and women smell after a workout. Our primal instinct is to love the pheromones released through natural scents. Too bad societies are making body odor as something that needs to be "medically fixed" because it is "stinky". 🖕

I love my boyfriend's scent. I often sniff his armpits and we laugh about it. I have two friends who also sniff each other- well, come to think of it, my whole group of friends sniff each other. We have developed this system of sniffing to identify each other and where we have been, what we have ate recently, ect. 

I think I just described a pack of dogs... Im going to go reevaluate my friends now.

i know i DON'T like the smell of axe, actually i really hate the smell of axe and quite a lot of mens colognes but that could be because a lot of artificial scents make me have asthma attacks or allergy attacks... i prefer lightly masked natural scents on men though, like something that doesn't make them stink like bad colognes or bad b/o, less is more with colognes people LESS IS MORE!!

I Love the Smell of My Beautiful Wife ( i m not talking about her soap or shampoo's smell ) Citrus and Lemon  are my Favorite and i also like the Smell of Indian Spices :D
