I work a 10 h night shift at a elderly care facility. I easily get down about 5000-10 000 steps a shift. Before I used to wear som fancy pancy running shoes a shop clerk talked me into buying. Still after almost every shift I was close to tears because my feet were hurting so bad. Bought the Hoka Transports at a sale and I think these are the best shoes I've ever had. For the first time my feet aren't sore after my shift. I do have quite slim feet, and I see how theese might not be good for anyone with wider feets. But for me a 10/10, would recommend for anyone working a job where your on your feet for extended periods of time.

I got these in all black and I've really enjoyed them. Not as breathable as I would have hoped but they're getting a ton of wear. I should note as well I'm in the 35+ demographic, so take that with a grain of salt.

Great review, it helped me make my decision! I agonized for over a week about whether to buy the Hoka Clifton 9 or the Transport shoes. Tried both of them at REI and walked around the store extensively. Finally, I decided on the Transports. Even though I found them to be slightly firmer than the Cliftons, their cushioning was still excellent, and oddly enough I preferred walking around in the Transports over the Cliftons. I am more into power-walking & hiking and do not really need running shoes. The Transports fit the bill for that and are awesome & stylish daily-wear shoes as well.

Great review - thank you! I just bought these after trying them on in the store. I had avoided Hoka's because I didn't like the big profile but these have a sleeker profile and I really liked them. The only problem is my started throbbing a little bit after going for a walk in them and I realized they are too narrow! So thanks for validating that. I will take them back and get the Cliftons in a wide.

I would 100% get these if they were available in wide. I’ve got Clifton 9s that I wear at my warehouse job 12hrs a day 8-10k steps and they’re the best shoes I’ve ever owned by far.

From what I know of Hoka Trail lineup, it's the Challenger that they say is the Clifton of the trails. The Speedgoats are the more famous ones and for more technical trail runs.

Hi. I’m late to the party as I’m in the market for a shoe which can handle travel and walking 15, 000 steps a day. I’m 35+ 190 pounds Eur 45 shoe size with a slightly broad front foot.
What model of Hoka or ON would you recommend. Thanks for the help :)

I’m a Nike person and I tried Hoka I’m a delivery driver and I would pick all day Hoka over Nike with these type of job

Just FYI, one huge flaw (to me) is that if you want to switch to the laces, you cannot ever go back to the boa lace up system because you have to cut/break the boa system to remove it. So dumb. Also, runs hot. Not good breathability.
