A fact i love about this mechanic is that no matter how much distance there is between you and Specimen 8 they will always take exactly one second to go through their weird space distortion. Which if you have a really long hallway and then move out of it's sight leads to it moving at a hundred miles per hour, since it has to cover all that distance in a second, and it's absolutely terrifying.

Happened to me as well when first playing HD xd
