P.S. although historians believe H1tler played this game, it‘s not safe to say Lenin was part of it.

In fact it‘s more likely that Lenin was NOT part of it, but I thought H1tler playing the black pieces is good enough to make an interesting video about it, even if white was a random stranger.

I wonder how Lenin felt about defending a king

Seeing the same mistakes and mindset he used in the actual WW2 getting recognized in this random chess game is actually incredible. Him scattering his troops, fighting on two fronts and leaving the king undefended all because he was too aggressive was crazy.

Hitler playing a strong right wing attack is very in character

I wish wars were fought on chess boards not on battlefields.

Bro really just casually revealed to us he was at fault for WW2. If Hitler were accepted into chesspage university, none of this would've happened😭😭😭

3:27 correction: he invaded USSR in June, which is, even in Russia, not a month of winter. His real mistake was attacking Russia at all.

This was supposedly played in like 1908 or 1909 and while people believe it was actually young H1tler playing that game, there's heavy speculation, if the opponent was actually Lenin. There are no like "official records" of them both being in Wienna at that time, so this story is an urban legend at best and a hoax at at worst:D
This game was never 100% actually confirmed to be betweeen H1tler and Lenin😅
Also there's like a "supposed" picture of the event and Lenin should've been pretty old compared to H1tler in 1908-1909 and the other dude doesn't look as old as Lenin should be in that year and he doesn't simply even look like Lenin.
Maybe there was a slight chance they met and played a chess game, but I doubt it:D

I've seen this game on other videos with funny comments about it, if we assume this game was real and actually between these two: "It's funny how H1tler played super aggressive, ended up over-extending and losing like in real life"😆

This is probably where he learned how unreliable the French defense was.

ironicly this chess game symbolizes how the war went for the germans
It started weird (Appeasment)
Hitler got aggreesive (Invasion of poland)
Domination of the board (Fall of france and most eurpean allied nations)
Makes a mistake and allows a conuter attack (not supplieng for the russsian winter)
Surredering before losing (i think you know)
