This is Part 1 of my Back to the Basics Bullet Journal YouTube Series. Over the course of the next few weeks I will be sharing tutorial style videos to help you add simple creative elements into your bullet journal.

PS: I know my nail polish is TERRIBLE. I will have it fixed by the next video :P

This video is Part 1 and covers how to draw banners and headers in your bullet journal. All you need for this tutorial is a pencil with an eraser, a pen, and optional circle stencil and ruler. The actual items I used will be listed below.

If you would like to keep up with this series and be notified when the new videos are released, be sure to subscribe to my channel.

So happy you're doing these back to basics. I can totally use these banners and headers. I feel like i can actually draw them now! Thanks!

I’m really looking forward to this series. I’m still very new to planning. I used a large spiral planner for 6 months and now I’m trying a TN. Next I want to try a bullet journal and then choose which type works best for me. I love seeing the basics & I’m glad you’re making this process accessible & not overwhelming.
