Nico’s swings on getting Kyrie, PJ, Gafford, Lively… they worked because of Luka. Luka embraced and empowered Kyrie. PJ, Gafford and Lively got a ton of open shots/lobs and alley oops playing with Luka. Their game splits/efficiency are night and day (with and without Luka). Nico traded away the engine that made it all work.

Ppl dont understand the punishment luka takes, being a lil larger is not a net neg. His game is not built for speed and bounce. If anything playing slow works in his favour and protects his joints
