Seriously, it’s so surreal, seeing one of the favorite bands of my youth coming back. I’m 32 now and still listen to AFS and now a new album, that’s pure joy.

When the water was filling up and how she held onto the key;running away, I felt that.

Key that the little girl runs away with is the same one from the opening scene of How Far Apart. This song is clearly a case of the other thinking grass is greener on the other side and How Far Apart is crashing of your dream and realization of what could have been. In both cases it seems that true happiness will not find her when chasing dreams or trying to share life (depicted in the whatever who cares video) with another. At least that's my interpretation, just happy to have them back!

I'm probably not cool enough to enjoy bands like Armor for Sleep, but I really do! I was a Radio Disney kid who mostly outgrew that phase long ago. I'm 26 and I discovered these guys over the summer with this album. I heard about them on and off, but never got around to listening. I definitely wish I had done so sooner. Shame on me, I know lol.
