This movie is good but it’s sad too. I think Kiefer and Sandra should have switched places and she should have been looking for him, instead of the other way around, I think it would have been more interesting that way. Sandra Bullock is a such a great actress

I loved this movie on release. Clueless about the French-Dutch original. The two male leads are in their prime (or very near it) and a young Sandy Bullock.. what more do you want. Great locations as well

The Dutch movie is by far more intense and frightening. The US version has great actors but misses those characteristics

I'm trying to find it on every streaming app, & every single one says its unavailable to purchase in my area, when this one was made in america where I live, but it's unavailable, & the original version, that was made in another country is available....I don't understand this

Good movie but doesn't make sense. He said he'd do anything to find her. Then totally botched out when he could've done anything to force a confession from the kidnapper.

Wait Kiefer Sutherland is the innocent every-day man whose girlfriend is Wtf?? That is not the actor I’d ever cast in this role, either he’s the asshole, disgruntled anti-hero, or straight up villain. And Jeff Bridges has never had the subtlety to play a sociopathic killer, let alone playing a good villain in the first place, insane casting choices here
