Amazing celebration of Vaidotai community

Vakar Vaidotų bendruomenė smagiai ir tradiciškai atšventė Užgavėnes! Šventė prasidėjo žygiu nuo Knygų namelio – maždaug kilometro kelionė suvienijo tiek mažus, tiek didelius. Pasiekus laužavietę, visus pasitiko didelis laužas, kuris ne tik simbolizavo žiemos išvarymą, bet ir tapo jaukiu traukos centru bendruomenei.

Renginyje netrūko pramogų tiek vaikams, tiek jų tėveliams – žaidimai, linksmybės ir šilti pokalbiai lydėjo visą vakarą. Vaišių stalai viliojo gardžiais bulviniais blynais, vafliais ir karšta arbata, suteikdami jaukumo ir šventiškos nuotaikos.

Tai buvo puiki proga ne tik prisiminti tradicijas, bet ir sustiprinti bendruomeniškumą, kartu atsisveikinant su žiema ir pasitinkant pavasarį!

Yesterday, the Vaidotai community came together for a joyful and traditional Užgavėnės celebration! The event began with a one-kilometer walk from the Book House, bringing together both young and old. Upon reaching the bonfire site, everyone was greeted by a large fire—a symbol of bidding farewell to winter and a warm gathering spot for the community.

The event was filled with entertainment for both children and their parents, featuring games, fun activities, and lively conversations. The feast included delicious potato pancakes, waffles, and hot tea, adding to the cozy and festive atmosphere.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate traditions, strengthen community bonds, and welcome the arrival of spring for the rest of the day!
