Drums were very Meteora. Guitar and turntables screamed Hybrid Theory. Piano brought some Minutes to Midnight. Vocals were very... Chester. No matter the album, Chester was always Chester. Mike did Mike, Brad was Brad, Mr. Han was very Han. Phoenix always humble Phoenix. Together, they’re always Linkin Park. Linkin Park was never ours, it was always theirs which is why people needed to stop complaining of their change. They were born to change and live for themselves. The music may have been for us but Linkin Park belonged to them.

I like how people are like “aw, see!?! They didn’t forget their fans and were trying to give them what they wanted” because they don’t realize that this video edited out when Chester said “there’s your hybrid theory, now shut the fuck up” showing that this was meant to be a “piss off” to the fans that were bitching about Heavy’s sound. This video is a prime example of how they still had it even tho they didn't do that type of music anymore. Chester's vocals are by far one of the greatest vocalist of a band in his time just for how iconic and recognising it is
