Introducing Storinator E-Class: Next Generation of Ultra-Fast Massive Storage Pods

Put simply, the Storinator E-class is the fastest, most reliable massive storage unit available today.

When properly configured, these machines can easily exceed read and write speeds of 1 gigabyte per second.

With 30, 45 or 60 hard-drive slots, the Storinator storage pods provide massive amounts of storage, up to 480TB of raw data.

New Features:

Toolless Lid
Attach and remove lid in one smooth motion using only your fingers, allowing for easier access to all your drives.

Accessory Free Drive Mounting
45 Drives’ minimal spring steel clips design eliminates the need for trays by pushing one side of the drive onto an UHMW Polyethylene block of plastic. This new feature holds drives securely by sinking vibration into chassis, allowing IO performance to remain at a high standard, and the resulting vibration reduction allows the drive to spin smoother, without interruptions, which results in no wasted processing time.

Upgraded Power Supply Unit
Our new 2U 1400W redundant PSU operates between 86% and 88% peak efficiency (see graph below), while the PMBus allows for remote management of the individual modules, as well as power statistics.

LCD Screen
The new Highpoint LCD screen reports all drives attached to the Rocket 750 HBA cards, improving troubleshooting capabilities through easier drive identification within the pod. The LCD screen flashes if a drive fails, giving you an instant notification to make the necessary replacement.

Cable Management Arm
The Supermicro cable management arm allows for cleaner management of external cables, providing organization within the server rack.
