I saw someone describe how I felt about the book perfectly, they said it was like it was a romance book and the fantasy aspect was just a device used to move the romance along, instead of having both genres work together to further each other.

I hope the author write the 3rd books better. I also thinks that's why she's taking more time in writing this time. I'm sure she didn't expect the hate on the 2nd book. Personally I do like Iron Flame, but I did read it expecting it being mid

I read the book and as a fantasy lover, genuinely loved it. It kept me hooked and I just cant find it in me to dislike it in anyway, but everyone has different opinions, and thats just mine

I know this doesn't make sense, but it's the best way I can describe it lol. Have you read it yet?!

i started reading iron flame when it came out early november and i still haven’t finished it a month later (i’m like 80% in). it’s tooo long, too repetitive, it makes me question whether she even had an editor… i gave the first one 5⭐️ but so far this one can’t be more than 3😢😢 i’m devastated it was my most anticipated read…

Personally, I read it and absolutely loved it, but that's just my opinion.

If i may recommend you a book, it will be " If it is not forever, it is not love" by Durjoy dutta. You'll love it. I am sure.
Consider it when you're taking a break reading this fascinating books, which just looks fascinating not in real.

I just wished there was more andarna there’s just so much I don’t understand and like xaden and violet were so wishwashy and confusing and at parts it was fun but at others it was like we already had this conversation the end just pissed me off and it absolutely killed me(spoiler coming up) when she was being tortured and Liam came out dude I broke down I forget which chapter but for one of them u can read a fraction of the letter from Liam to sloane telling her violet is just like her and I nearly wailed

I’ve noticed that the first one was very hyped and then this one was really hyped and then as more people read it…it’s dropped.
I haven’t read it but own it and it’s on my TBR.
The most of what I heard is:
Most people don’t get how she put it out in 6 months after the first one.
With the length and repetition of it could of been cut down by 300-200 pages…
Most people don’t think there was much editing that happened and it just got pushed with barely any to just cash on the hype of the first.

Second:This book is the poster child for the Romantasy genre. This book belongs more in the romance category so most Fantasy heavy readers who want more of the stuff with Fantasy tend to have this book related as it’s okay compared to the ones loving it.
I keep seeing it more as Romance heavy and that Fantasy is just the setting of the book.
I’m a very heavy Fantasy/Epic Fantasy reader so I tend to like the books most non fantasy readers(and some fantasy readers) are intimidated by.

I feel the same as you. On one hand, I think a lot of better choices could've been made for the story and there was REAL potential, but on the other hand I really can't wait to read more...who knows maybe the next book would make more sense than this!

I like the book. But the main characters honestly needed to sit down and just talk. But I loved the dynamics, surprises, and the actual main character.

I got annoyed with the characters when I read the first book. And you saying they were annoying in the second book solidifies my decision not to pick this one up.

I loved it so much and probably a little more than fourth wing. I get that it was frustrating tho like of course he wasn’t telling you everything!
