The only true successors of Rome are the Italians🇮🇹 and Greeks🇬🇷.
The fact that you speak a language of Latin origin, or that there is Rome in your name, does not make you a successor to one of the most complex civilization in history.
Probably the truth is that no one is really the learner of Rome.

The true successor of Rome is Brazil, since we are the Latin country, Largest Italian Community outside of Italy, we have natural resources than has Trillions of value, but we have a corrupt goverment who dont invest in the nation, sadly.

Romania has inherited something which no other Romance or Orthodox Nation did. Both things.

Romania's language is a Latin one, inheriting it from 2nd Century Rome, and their Religion is Orthodox, inheriting it from the Eastern Romans.

Greece might bear the same church as the Eastern Romans, but they dont speak Latin, Italy might speak a Latin Language, but they aren’t the same Christian religion as the Eastern Romans.

Also, Romanians have the same spirit as Ancient Romans, never giving up, despite being cornered around by 3 HUGE empires wanting their lands, Austria-Hungary, Russian Empire and Ottoman Empire.

They also are the strongest in the Balkans having a sense of pride for their nationality.
