It gets me when people who have never played the game -- I played defensive back -- criticize a DB when he hits someone like Landon hit this guy, after the guy had not caught the ball.  Landon had already committed the hit, and if he THEN pulled back, he stood to get creamed himself.  You have to go with what you started, and if you pull back in that situation, you put yourself off balance and subject to serious injury.  Better to hit the guy squarely and legally than to subject yourself to an awkward collision.

Good player, but I doubt the Skins will take him when they can get so many better players. DC could use a safety more than most positions, but there are plenty of better players that play different positions. Fowler and Scherff will probably still be on the board, and they have better potential and lower risk. Besides, they can trade down to get Collins; I can see my Ravens picking him at 26. Basically, I think it makes little sense for the Skins to pick him at 5, and I don't think they'll pick him then either.
