Three Chinese Taikonauts who arrived at the Tiangong Space Station in early June returned to Earth on Sunday in their Shenzhou-14 Space Craft after carrying out the country’s first in-orbit crew handover at the Tiangong Space Station.
The Shenzhou-15 crew had a one-week handover from the Shenzhou-14 crew that successfully tested the Tiangong’s ability to temporarily house six Taikonauts, another record for China's space program. The Shenzhou-14 crew touched down at the Dongfeng landing site in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous, about nine hours after their spacecraft separated from the Tiangong space station.

It was the first landing at night and in winter weather for China’s manned space program. All went as planned according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA). The Shenzhou-15 Taikonauts will live and work on the Tiangong T-shaped Space Station for six month.
