I have lost my dearest wife to cancer 4 month ago. When she was ill I used to pray every single day for her cure. Yet, she passed away. It was some crushing sadness to me. I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 20 years. God has not healed me. I was angry about it for a long time. I had converted to Catholicism (because I felt God was calling me to be a nun) and was brought into the Church on April 10th. On April 28th, the entire right side of my body went numb which is how I found out I had MS. But looking back on the last 20 years now, God used my MS to bless and change the lives of so many people. He knew what he was doing. I would have been a terrible nun. He has used me to serve in so many ways. Thy will be done!

After the death of loved one due to illness, I realised that fervent prayer is not always meant to change the situation. But instead God changes us, changes how we look at things, changes our attitudes while He walk us through circumstances..
