A news conference was held at Kennedy Space Center, on Dec. 4 to discuss the launch postponement of the first flight test for NASA’s Orion spacecraft. The launch was scrubbed because of an issue related to fill and drain valves on the Delta IV Heavy rocket that teams could not troubleshoot by the time the launch window expired. The next launch window opens at 7:05 a.m. Eastern on Friday, Dec. 5. NASA Television coverage of the Friday, Dec. 5 launch attempt begins at 6 a.m. EST.

If Orion flies on Friday, that would be a great accomplishment to finish off the week, for everyone working on the program.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm glad the reporter asked the question, we probably all had, in regards to the winds.  That exact same topic was mentioned during a show about the new Norwegian Cruise Lines - Epic ship and dealing with the 'sail' effect of such a large surface area.

NASA don't risk losing everything you have achieved so far be sure you are 100℅ correct with everything.
Good luck for tomorrow.

Amazing, with all that sometimes seems wrong with humans, and Americans. I have such a proud and awesome feeling watching this. 100 years from now it may seem primitive, but we will have left such a positive mark in history.

So amazing, and so proud to be an American.

It seem strange the valve problem wasn't addressed and corrected before today. They know about the valve problem from earlier launches

I wonder what they do with all of that fuel that they have to empty out?  Also, why do they have to empty it and re-fuel in the first place?  Is it a temperature issue?

I wonder why they don't heat those valves.
