Avicii was a pioneer, something that has become increasingly harder to achieve in today’s world. He inspired a generation, including a lot of the young dj’s I’ve worked with. He managed to maintain that elusive mix of mainstream success and credibility.
He wasn’t electronic, he was electric. He wasn’t music, he was magic. And he’ll remain forever as a teardrop in music’s hall of fame.
In another world I wish we could have jammed together, but all I can offer is this little tribute. RIP you legend. Hats backwards to you. X
