oh my days this is making me feel the vibes again. haven't been this excited about an artist for a while cant believe it took me so long to find you. has everything I want in a track; atmosphere, breaks, negative space, and just a hint of dark sky's earlier stuff. mad love from Australia overmono ill be playing your stuff at every party for the foreseeable future

Played this gem at 1.25x and it morphed into a drum and bass banger

definitely unique among all the other current break tracks floating around right now. they are all the SAME more or less, it's like that with EVERYTHING today within every electronic genre on offer today, there is so MUCH of it to sift through but it's all THE FRIGGING SAME SHIT I'm like NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE about 30 times on any given playlist on any music stream platform I go on looking for new tracks I like...
I'm PICKY I'm a PICKY BITCH damn it!
so I run across this one on a Spotify breakbeat play list that's more than 7 hours of content right? this is the second track on it, should be the first one in my opinion. got my hopes up for the rest of what was on it. like 3 others made the cut for originality out of the entire thing and only one that ranked with this track for me.
how much FUCKING TIME is spent on this quest searching for new stuff to listen to is obscene, I started when I got home from work at 7 or so and it's 2 in the morning now and I have all of FOUR NEW cuts I really liked out of fucking thousands of tracks???
who the fuck has time for this shit???
am I the ONLY PERSON this frustrated with all the generic cookie cutter mass produced industry garbage that's being cranked out because mainstream labels are strangling everything individual and unique in these "artist's" work, like EVERYTHING ELSE they've touched and turned to absolute shit in every category of music??? the life and creativity is just strangled out of it until you can't tell any of it apart and everything sounds exactly the fucking same.
I'm so IRRITATED I had to rant and lost my mind..
ahem. it's the result of losing an entire night of sleep when I have to be going to work at 5 am and it's 2 am, to find 5 diamonds in a the rough..
sifting through this "for commercial consumption" bullshit.
grinds my FUCKING GEARS!
IT USED TO BE in the jolly warehouse rave after-hours underground of the 90s
EVERYTHING that came out was FUCKING FIRE in its own right practically FUCKING EVERYTHING there wasn't something new that came out where you weren't like WHO IS THAT AND WHERE THE HELL DO I GET MY HANDS ON IT??? scoring music was on par with the ecstasy that went along with it, cause all electronic back then hit you just like a drug in itself...
am I wrong about that? old timers of the late 80s and 90s know what I'm talking about, I see it in comments all the time about "back in the day" to the same effect everywhere.
you couldn't possibly understand it now if you weren't there to know it back then, it was INSANE how it got on top of you like it did and once it does you'll always have a love of it the older we get the more ridiculous we know we look to those who don't get it too.
"I'm 70 and I love this stuff STILL to this day" I read in a comment on a 90s jungle video someone left, that's the oldest I've seen yet. like I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of it either undertone to it it's so funny. it's just been WRECKED fucking ruined by major records industry and those days can NEVER be replicated. it was like the late 60s all over again in the late 90s.
I find tracks like this and I'm like holy shit they haven't force factory molded these guys yet! right on! they control the creativity and work of artists in everything they write that the final product is never close to what they ever originally created whoever they are.
how has it turned into accepting being forced into this or never becoming an artist who produces nothing at all if you refuse???
the last few years of breaks and dnb being cranked out and the staggering number of so called "artist's" is overwhelming for the true fans of it and so underwhelming in how it ALL SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME worse than that HOW STALE it's getting to plow through that garbage to find a few good ones out of it all.
FUCK!
