For those wondering why Frieza is so lenient with Ginyu, this scene perfectly explains it. Frieza likes the idea of Ginyu taking over Cell's body because he knows that even with Cell's power level, Ginyu would still remain loyal. He'd cut out his own heart before he betrayed Frieza. There's no need to threaten Ginyu, he genuinely loves his job lol.

I love how the series shows Frieza has a soft spot for Ginyu, he barely ever threatens him. He doesn't get mad at the weird poses, he didn't kill Ginyu for failing after he found out he was still alive and was didn't get mad at him for not swapping bodies here. It's nice to see Frieza not just insulting someone.

Also it's really odd how Frieza seems to have a weird tolerance for the Ginyu Force's antics

Aside from the obvious frog joke and ptsd reasoning, i wonder if Ginyu wouldn't be able to body swap with Cell because of the latter being entirely artificial and having a body utterly... well, alien for that reason.
