What a fantastic day! We were livin' life in the fast lane! In this video, I take you to the real-life "corner" in the Eagles' hit classic "Take It Easy". We discuss the history of the tune, the band, and the corner! The adventure continues at the "HERE IT IS" sign at the Jack Rabbit Trading Post in Joseph City, Arizona. This sign inspired Pixar to make "Cars"!

Big thanks to Antonio and his awesome family for creating such a great experience at the trading post and letting me nerd out about Pixar and Route 66 history.

We actually have Linda Ronstadt to thank for Eagles. Some of the members were with her band, and when they said they were leaving to start a new group, she offered to manage them. Job well done Linda!

Gotta love how the flatbed Ford is also painted bright red (bright red Ford!), for those who didn't remember the lyrics

My dad took us kids in the 50's on RT 66 from Chicago to Mojave Ca 4 times and I remember those Jackrabbit signs for over 600 miles away. And 19 Cent gas wars. and all the Burma Shave signs
