Storm Shield Forecast - August 1, 2014

Показать описание
We're stuck in the same pattern, and there isn't much energy to work with across the country. That means our chances for severe weather are pretty close to slim. The threat of damaging winds, large hail, and a tornado or two is slightly greater than it was yesterday, but that's not saying much.
Wind or hail could occur in South Dakota and Nebraska. Large hail is possible across parts of Wisconsin. And in the Southeast, strong winds are possible, and a tornado could spin up along the coast of North Carolina.
Meanwhile, in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Bertha has now formed. It's moving slowly, and it could skirt near Puerto Rico. The mainland doesn't have much to worry about. Models currently have the storm approaching Florida, but never getting anywhere near it, before heading back out to sea.
