Turn a Website into a Mobile App - How to Create an App Link to Website - iPhone Shortcut

In this tut

Step 1: Open your shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad, click on the plus button.

Step2: Select to “Add Action” next select the WEB scroll to select SHOW WEB PAGE

Step3: Paste in the link to link the app to website

Step4: Name your shortcut, this will appear under the app on your home screen..

Step 5: Return to your Shortcut home screen and you will see your new shortcut with the name you gave, from the tile select the small 3 dots top right of the tile.

Step 6: Again, under the done button select the 3 dots, ADD To HOMESCREEN.

Step 7: Open your camera roll and select teh picture you wish to use as the app icon on your iPhone or iPad.

How can I delete the webpage app button (the reverse )

The newest version of ios doesn't work like this. I am lost. Trying to make it open my website that has my cool app on it and it won't work. There is no open web page and there is no add to home screen, etc. Very frustrated.

Is there a way to build something into a website so that there is a button on the website that the user can click on which will then automatically create and add this kind of link/button to their homescreen? I have a website that has a mortgage payment calculator page on one of the pages. I would like to be able to offer the button that I described so that if someone goes to the calculator page of my website they can click this button in order to add a link directly to my payment calculator page that is available as an icon on their home screen on their phone.
