Tried showing this video to the guys at Norman's Electronics, my local authorized Pioneer shop here in Atlanta, only to be refuted and told 'it's just as good to pull straight up' despite the locking mechanism.  Be careful if you ever have to get your mixer serviced.  They also forgot to put back a couple screws around the mic.  Thanks for having this video up so I can (try to) explain this to people.

How about the volume fader caps. Do they have the same system? I’m trying to skin my pioneers. The DDj 1000 srt amd the xdj xz but don’t want to force anything.

Wow. Great video. I'm actually looking to add the rotary knob kit to my DJM 900 SRT & this is the only video that came up with any type of info on it.
