iPhones are faster....
Samsungs have more features...
Apple make their own OS...
Samsung make their own screens...
_Can’t we just accept that they’re _*_both_*_ really good phones???_

These tests always have the same results. Android being faster on everyday apps like social media or YT and the iPhones being faster at gaming or rendering videos

Ive had both iPhone and Samsung and their both great in their own right nothing can beat the premium feel of the iPhone but from my experience i feel as if the Samsung is better in the long run and i recently was chosing between the xr and the s9+ and i ended up getting the s9+ and im beyond happy with my decision id love to see a full comparison between these two! Great video as well!

I have both phones. I was about to sell my S9+, but then I realized why not keep both instead of one. S9+ for the display and freedom, Iphone XR for the durability and performance.

Samsung opened 9 apps faster out of 17. I can't wait for Android Pie on One Ui

The thing with XR is that it loads the app completely before displaying it. This is the case with most iOS devices. Once it is loaded, you can see that the subsections in the apps open first on the XR because it has already loaded them while opening.

It's pretty pointless comparing app opening times on iOS vs Android, because they do it in a completely different way. Android loads it as fast as it can, and displays only what the user has to see i.e. the front page, and loads everything else in the background as it display the app to the user, which is why for the first couple of seconds of using a newly opened app on Android, there is sometimes some stuttering and lag. Whereas on iOS, it loads the entire application, then displays it to the user, which is why it's buttery smooth and has no lag. Where with the larger applications like games, they have to be loaded 100% regardless of the OS, which is why the more powerful iPhones always win on them.

Seeing that the s9 is still holding up so we'll even after 8 months of its launch, I wonder how much it'll improve with One Ui

5:20 speed for gamming 😂😂 i mean both phones play alike when the game loads it doesn’t make one better just faster load times. Then Again xr has 828 p resolution compared to 1440p on S9 thats a much bigger advantage .XR has the most powerful mobile chip but that resolution is the trouble 🙁

3yrs ago this two phone are truly what I really want. But I go for Samsung s9, until now my s9 are still awesome and also very reliable phone.

There's absolutely no doubt that that the s9 is the better overall phone. It's much better looking. It's cheaper. It's as powerful on everyday activities. On paper the XR is the more powerful but that doesn't roll down to day to day real life usage. There's just no competition between these 2. The XR with its notch and huge side bezels just isn't worth 750. 499 it should cost. So it's the s9 for me every time.

I traded my s9 for an Xr, so far what I miss most is being able to display apps above others, the headphone jack, and touch lock. Some things I like better about this phone so far are the screen (not sharper than the s9 but so much brighter), the keyboard, and definitely the smoothness. I still don’t have a definitive winner, I guess with time I’ll see
