Early test of RAZBAM's AV-8B Night Attack for DCS

This is an early test of RAZBAM´s development of the AV-8B Night Attack for DCS.

The aircraft is in the very early stages of development, it is not even an alpha. In this video, Prowler is trying to learn how to operate the aircraft.

He has managed a vertical take-off but so far has not been successful on the landings.

The AV-8B is a veritable widow maker, an unforgiving aircraft that will kill the unwary. Specially in the VTOL regiment. It takes a lot of training to be able to do vertical take-offs and landings.

The test was done in the Caucasus map of DCS ver 1.5.6

Such grace.

Hahaha no the harrier is notoriously hard to VTOL. Good luck and good work.

I feel many levels of want.

Is it expected to be released 2025?

ED's wingtip vapor at its typical finest. Nice work RAZBAM!

Looks like it is coming along. That takeoff was a little rough for sure. Was that because of the current flight dynamics coding? Or is it just that hard to keep under control? In any event I am really looking forward to this one, and will be watching intently on its progress. Consider me subbed!

Hi, Is there any planned ETA on this? Q3/4? ;) Also, how would one get in contact with you when the time comes for early access to, and pushing the release of, this beauty?

Nice! Sounds like a fun challenge!
I can't wait to gracefully crash - err... I mean *land* on the carrier.

I hope the boardcomputer can do the stabilisation. Looking forward to startup and land horizontal. :-)

I never paid much attention to the AV-8, but fall in love with the feeling the cockpit transmits.
I discovered this in BMS, where all the avionics and flight model are the same as the F-16, and now that a dedicated model is coming to DCS, I can't wait.

I think it would be safe to call that an unorthodox departure ;)

If this project comes to fruition I will definitely get it! The Harrier is iconic and I want to fly it!

This is very nice! I can not wait to see this as a module in late 2017. Good luck!
