In this video tutorial I show you how to write custom firmware for the ESP8266 using the WeMos D1 Mini development board and the Arduino IDE. Instructions for finding the USB drivers for the USB to Serial UART module depending on your Operating System can be found here:
Enter the following URL into the "Additional Board Manager URLs" field in the preferences menu of the IDE:

I know my i have all the right drivers and IDE settings, as i work on the arduino, but it never works. I've checked everything but i get this error message

it was all right and realy helpfull but i installed the latest version of esp8266(in my case 2.6) and it didnt run. Only after many trys i noticed that the latest was not solid enough.
