I agree they should have a break, I do think it’s stupid that the break takes place between the Belgian and Dutch Grand Prixs though
They are the closest races together on the calendar and it would make way more sense for them both to happen, and then the break happen

nascar drivers (for Cup) don’t get a break except for the following reasons
1. off season the season is done and drivers get a break till February but 2.5 months break is not that long
2. Olympics it’s just two weeks
3. big events like Covid
4. a week break
