Do two of the same watercolor painting with slight differences in color or value (fast and free and don't sweat the details). Then cut as shown, and weave together for a unique and beautiful woven painting.

Any simple subject will work well, or weave two different paintings together for an abstract look. Weaving may feel awkward with the first two or three strips, but just keep going - it quickly gets easier and the results are surprising.
