Induction brazing aluminum, cost effective and fast😎

Brazing is one of most commonly used joining technique on aluminum heat exchanges. It is usually done in oven. What you see is much faster joining process using induction heating! A company I worked for used a belt furnace and exothermic gas for brazing.
We used induction for annealing and hardening small parts.

That's how GM/DELPHI solders the pipes on ac condensers. Did that job years ago.

We used these in the Navy all the time for aircraft instruments, desoldering is a breeze and you just pop open the indicator.

This is how Trane brazes the aluminum tubing in their evaporator coils and condensing units. They assemble the coils, dry fit the tubes w/ flux and solder rings, put them in an oven and braze all the joints at once
