I have enjoyed watching Valeria sing Katyusha and other Russian songs in other videos when she was a little girl and I continued to enjoy her singing. She is a pretty and talented singer whose lovely voice is so very beautifully complimented by the Red Army Choir.🌹

I love the character Valeria has created to sing this song. Singing it she becomes Katie the patriotic farm girl who has followed her love into the army right down to her boots and the white ribbon tying up her long hair. A wonderful talented singer who is able to project the person the song is about, and I think here all of 13. May she continue to grow up well.

I am so happy to see these videos. Many of Valentina Kurnushkina's performances only found their way onto YouTube in the last few months. I loved her 2014 performance of this song in Belarus ... I recall how horrified I was at the Christmas 2016 loss of life in the Black Sea plane crash ... and worst of all, I thought she had died, along with everyone else in the Ensemble. On social media, I later saw her offer condolences to those who died ... Thank you Valeria, keep up the good work. Я люблю Россию!
