In this video I explain why using 4321 might be the reason you are losing on FC 24. The basic formations such as 442, 4231 are the key to learning and improving fundamentals of the game.

I took coaching lessons from Kingsunny. Started in division 5. After his coaching, I now play in division 1 and have almost reached elite. 442 is definitely what I've used from hitting 30-0s to getting good ranks to this day, its a better formation for most

Totally agree.
I jumped on the hype train for this 4321 and I don't seem to improve. Just keep it simple with 442 and 4222 and I feel more in control of my team.

Just watched all of this and its so true, i been forcing myself to play 4321 and im stuck im Div 2 failing to win because i cant play the game im used to playing 442 but ive been chasing the meta, back to the drawing board. Thanks mate

First time using 442 after this video. I haven’t lost since then. Though it’s only 15 matches. But I enjoyed my game and it’s been so much lovely . I play in the Div 4 btw

I never got along with that formation, tried it in Fifa 23. Either winning big or losing big with that Formation, no in between. Switched back to 4231 where i win most of my games and when I lose its by a close margin.

I use 4-2-4 with pressure on heavy touch to get to elite, it's the best for my playstyle

People might think its all arbitrary but i moved to 442 and started to learn game mechanics bit better its not gonna guarantee you win but 100% agree it will make you better player. Definitely enjoying the game more now. Bro keep up the good work 🙌

Great video mate, nicely explained. I have hit constantly 15-16 wins this year with every formation apart from 4321 coz I just dont want to follow the trend. I know If learn RS switching and add player lock in my gameplay, I could easily go to 18 wins.
