Had a grounded compressor on a small reach in two door freezer. When I pulled the electrical connectors off the compressor, the start terminal came with it and so did the charge. Thankfully the unit only has less than a pound of charge but the sudden release of refrigerant gave me the shakes for the rest of the day.

I remember back when I had a 06E compressor blow the charge out of the windings right in front of me! 60LB of 22 gone and scared the shit outta me!😂

I'm yet to see that one in the field .
I wonder if it has something to do with this type of connector ?
