Those who criticize barefoot shoes as "ugly, expensive, and clownish" are often the same individuals who would empty their wallets for the latest Jordans or Yeezy footwear. It's absurd that people place fashion over function. Why compromise your natural gait just to follow a trend?

I wear Joomra minimalist trail running shoes. They have a wide toe box and are very flexible. I had gotten an ingrown toenail from pointed shoes. After getting my toe surgery, I searched for shoes that might help me avoid a repeat of that. I have been wearing Joomras a few years now, and they are great.

Vans has wide versions now. The old skool wides are comfortable with more than enough space for your feet.

Vans are designed for Skaters, hence the pointed shape for more control on flips and tricks
