The first time I ever heard this song was in March of 1988. I was in Florida on vacation with one of my employees at that time. It came on the radio in the rental car, and he told me that it was a really good tune from DLR. So I listened to it and after it was done I thought to myself that It's not really good, it's damn good! Just like the title. To me it's one of those songs that just seems to grab you and makes you want to think about the passing of time and everything that gets left behind in its' wake. I still listen to it from my library every now and then and everytime I do It still makes me wonder.

My childhood best friend died on August 18 2021. I had covid at the same time and almost died myself. I just found out he died 2 days ago on November 18, 2021. We were freshman together in high school when this song came out. Even though I have not spoken to him in years, I'm gonna miss him. I feel like I lost a brother from long ago. Song brings back lot of memories
