I had this one back in the day and don't know what really happened with it but it baffles me why JVC, Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Bose, etc., and of the companies who make Bluetooth speakers or sound devices don't make the speakers look like these retro boom boxes. Many of us would pay almost anything for these. I was apart of the Replitronics New Wave Toys M90 Mini/Micro Kickstarter Program and bought two M90 minis, and there is a market for these. Why are the sound companies not making BT speakers look like the retro boxes? Sorry to hear about your friend but at least this box will keep his memory with you.

JVC made another bigger than this one now to me that’s the king of JVC boom boxes I had to tote mine with a heavy duty strap back in the day it held 10 D size batteries
