Good riddance. A dude that had no experience at any of the top positions offense or defense or a head coach at any level. Plus he raised eyebrows with the clown show rant and running QB sneaks meant Judge was gonna get the axe, he just hastened his exit. Joe Judge was a questionable hire to begin with and he was another Belichick assistant who tried to bring Patriot ways to the Giants. You can't take the Patriot way and apply it somewhere else.

As a longtime Giants Fan, I do not celebrate Judges departure, because it means several additional years of futility moving forward, but it was becoming apparent that Judge did not have the answers for improving a shamefully inept offense. But it was the GM Gettleman and before him Reese who really killed the Giants, selecting a finesse running back in Barkley with the 2nd overall pick in 2018, when they desperately needed a QB, selecting Jones with the 6th pick of the draft in 2019, when he was a 3rd round talent, and has played more like a career NFL Backup rather than elite NFL QB and 1st round talent. If they wanted Jones, they should have traded back in the draft, picked up an elite edge pass rusher with their first pick and than drafted Jones later. Drafting D. Lawrence with a high draft pick was another head scratcher, and of course the Baker Draft blew up in their face almost immediately. Simply too many wasted high round draft picks under both Reese and Gettleman, which inevitably kill a franchise and explain the horrible state of the Giants. They have not had a great draft class in over a decade and that destroys a franchise, because successful teams build their foundation through the draft and use Free Agency to add finishing pieces.

Unless they rehire Joe Judge, I hope they take Mike Zimmer. Miami's HC would be cool too. But the Giants firing coaches every two seconds definitely shows a lack of stability beyond coaching.

If Joe Judge ran 2 handoffs, lost yards, blocked and TD? They're down 10 with a struggling offense. Safety punt give up a score down 8 or 12. Plus Fromm hasn't been studying the playbook all season so there ARE PLENTY OF REASONS THAT WAS NOT A BAD DECISION. THAT'S EMBARRASSING THAT PEOPLE WHO KNOW FOOTBALL WOULD ACT LIKE THAT'S A BAD DECISION.
