i have python added to "PATH" but when i enter "pip install pygame" into cmd it doesn't work. It just says "error: subprocess-exited-with-error" and whole bunch of stuff after that

I followed your steps, and when i tried to import pygame in the IDLE, it showed the error Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module>
import pygame
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pygame'. What should I do?

when i install pygame i get "Encountered error while generating package metadata." even when running CMD as an admin.
any ideas why? I also get the same error when trying in visual code studio.

whenever I type python --version in the command prompt it says "Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings" what should I do
